It all started one day when someone (I think it was Mitternacht or Taiki-san)
came up with an idea. Wouldn't it be great to be part of a cosplaygroup?
This person asked all of his/her friends what they thought, and they all liked it.
They decided to create a Cosplaygroup. Their first "mission" was to come up
with a great name. Oh boy, there were so many different names to pick.
That was a hard mission, really.
I do not remember who it was who came up with the word "baka".
I think it started with someone saying "Man, we're such idiots!"
while just coming up with a stupid name.
The word "baka" is japanese and means "idiot". So, I think that struck our minds.
We thought the name was perfect - since we were all such "idiots", but still, it felt weird.
I mean, "Hello, I'm from Idiot-cosplay!" so we decided to put the dots in it.
Baka turned B.A.K.A.
But then there was a new problem - what on earth did the "B","A","K" and "A" stand for?
We haven't solved that problem yet... But we gladly take in opinions! XD
Ever since we came up with our name, it felt somewhat more "real".
We started to look for members, picked one here and one there,
and suddenly we were 15 members. For now, we think that's a
pretty good number - not too many and not too few.
I think that's all I can tell for now. We all go to con's,
cosplay in our town (that's funny) and take silly photos of each other and
so much more, and we're having a hell of a time! |
